Peer-to-peer payments have just launched on the Messenger app in the UK, two years after the feature arrived in the US. Facebook is reportedly considering a merger of its three messaging platforms — WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger — allowing users to send messages between the networks for the first time.
